Thanks to LA City Nerd for linking us up over at his informative LA centric website. Of special interest over there is the series “225 Ways Celebrate LA“, many of which are accessible by public transit.

So I’ve implemented a new calendar feature on this site where all Metro related events can be posted. Events can be anything related to the “public transit lifestyle”, ranging from Transit Coalition Meetings to local events like Downtown’s Grand Performances that are easily accessible by public transit. Be sure to include as much pertinent information as possible, especially rail or bus lines that serve the event. Also include a link to the refering website if at all possible. Events will be highlighted (in orange) on the calendar on the sidebar, and a list of upcoming events can also be viewed by clicking “events” in the top navigation.
