Franklin Avenue Reads MetroRiderLA

Added on Tuesday, June 13th, 2006

The great blog Franklin Avenue has recently linked us at their site. Franklin Avenue is an absolutely GREAT Los Angeles blog that covers eating, drinking, shopping, and just plain living in this great city. Of special interest is their “Rate-a-Restaurant” series that offers concise reviews of area restaurants, and invaluable resource for any Angeleno. Thanks for the link guys!

Metro Events Calendar

Added on Sunday, June 11th, 2006

So I’ve implemented a new calendar feature on this site where all Metro related events can be posted. Events can be anything related to the “public transit lifestyle”, ranging from Transit Coalition Meetings to local events like Downtown’s Grand Performances that are easily accessible by public transit. Be sure to include as much pertinent information as possible, especially rail or bus lines that serve the event. Also include a link to the refering website if at all possible. Events will be highlighted (in orange) on the calendar on the sidebar, and a list of upcoming events can also be viewed by clicking “events” in the top navigation.
