Metro is holding two scoping meetings on an Orange Line extension from Warner Center to Chatsworth. One is 7-9 p.m. Thursday, July 26 at Chatsworth High School, 10027 Lurline Av., in Chatsworth. The other is 7-9 p.m. Monday, July 30, at the New Academy of Canoga Park, 21425 Cohasset St., in Canoga Park.

The map shows four alternatives. One would take over the right of way near Canoga Avenue and operate in the manner of the existing busway alignment. The study also includes three street-running alignments along De Soto and Canoga avenues and Topanga Canyon Boulevard. Extending the Orange Line to SR-118 may also be looked at.
