Omnitrans, the bus agency serving the Greater San Bernardino area, is also raising fares and cutting service over the next five years. Riders have until next week to give the agency their venom and plan accordingly until 2012.
The fares are going to increase from $1.25 to $1.35 for the general public, from $0.50 to $0.65 for senior citizens and disabled riders, $3.00 to $3.50 for a day pass (from $1.25 to $1.50 for senior citizens and disabled riders), as well as corresponding increases to its 7- and 31-day passes.

Line 70 would be rerouted to Milliken Avenue to serve Rancho Cucamonga Metrolink Station and Civic Center.
