Metro is soliciting public comments for proposed June service changes.
The biggest change is Line 910, which connects the El Monte and Harbor Transitway busways on one line. It would mean losing downtown L.A. service on lines 446/447, 484 and 490. The cancellations proposed are lines 26, 124, 256, 444 and 724. Service reductions are proposed for lines 53, 177, 209, 711 and 714.
Public hearings on the proposed changes will be held throughout February. Each of the service sectors will accept comments at their monthly meetings. Metro will also accept written testimony via e-mail, with “Service Changes June ‘09″ in the subject line. Metro also accepts written comments by mail at:
