MetroRiderLA is due for a new theme. I’m sticking with rail lines for this round, so it’s either Gold, Blue, Green, or Purple. Which do you want to see next? Vote now! And let me know any other ideas you might have for themes beyond the rail lines. I have this crazy idea that a Union Station theme would be pretty cool…

  1. And what about the Orange Line?

  2. That’s been an available option.

    I say Blue Line.

  3. Let’s do the nicest ones first, I’m for the Gold Line theme.

  4. And what about the Orange Line?

The Orange Line, along with the Red Line, is one of the two currently available options. And what about it? It’s the bus that acts like a train! :)

I do plan on add more pictures to the headers for the current Orange and Red Line themes. Just gotta get out there with the camera.

  5. It’s the bus that acts like a train!

My point was you got the Purple Line up there even though it isn’t real. Why not the Orange Line rail corridor? It isn’t real either.

  6. As usual you bring up a very compelling point. A philosophical one too. What is real, really? What if this is all but a dream?

  7. I have a dream. I dreamed I could take the West Ventura County light rail network to either the Moorpark Metrolink Station or Thousand Oaks Civic auditorium Monorail Terminus. The Antonovich Monorail could take me anywhere. In this dream there were no colors. In this dream all transit was equal…

    [with apologies]

  8. The Purple Line is real. It may not have achieved its full potential. However, it is uniquely itself between Vermont/Wilshire and Western/Wilshire — granted a small degree of independence.

  9. Shh! It doesn’t know it’s a bus.

  12. I vote Blue Line, because it ties in well with parallels to bus designations: Red = Red Line, Rapid; Orange = Orange Line, Local; Blue = Blue Line, Express.

  13. How did you get all the images you need for the theme without security hassling you? :)

Sorry bro, but since you took a picture of a subway you’re on the terrorist most wanted list.
