WHAT’S HOT
: Cable Untangling Championship

WHY
: The name says it all. Someone invented a sport called speedcabling and the goal is to unravel a bundle of wires as fast as possible. I wouldn’t want to live life without seeing this at least once.
HOW MUCH
: FREE

WHAT’S HOT: “True Romance” at Angel City Drive In
WHERE
: Angel City Drive In
WHEN
: 6:30pm
WHY
: A Drive In might seem and odd choice for a transit oriented weekend, but the Angel City Drive In is special in that walking and biking is encouraged. If you drive the ticket price jumps up 20 bucks! Now that’s what I’m talkin’ about. Plus it converts an otherwise boring parking lot into a community event! And how doesn’t love seeing early 90’s crime movies like True Romance in a sweet Downtown setting
HOW MUCH
: $10 if you’re car-free, $30 if you love the car-culture

WHY: Maybe you’re still in college. Maybe you’re more years past college than you’re comfortable admitting. Either way, you know a thing or two about beer pong. Not naming any names, but I know there are some MetroRider’s who in their day could rule this tournament without contest. Say, we haven’t heard from Tyke Johnson in a while, huh?
