Interesting about Southern portion of the Gold Line going to Whittier.
That would create an intersting “C” shape of sideways U.
Something similar could happen to the Green Line with the southern portion currently going to Redondo Beach going to the Long Beach Airport. (The current eastern terminus should go to the Santa Fe Springs Metrolink extension when western extension finally goes to LAX. That would better hook up Metrolink service to getting to the Airport.
