Metro has released its proposed service changes for the Westside/Central, San Gabriel Valley and Gateway Cities service sectors. Public hearings will be held throughout August. Metro also accepts responses through August 13. Comments can be sent via e-mail to customerrelations@mta.net with “December 2007 service changes” in the subject line, or mail to:

Cancel Line 26 service along Virgil Av. Cancel Line 51 service and replace proposed S-3 routing. S-3 would operate from Harbor Transitway Green Line Station to Compton Blue Line Station via Figueroa St., 117th St., Broadway, El Segundo Bl., Main St., Rosecrans Av., San Pedro St. and Compton Bl.

Line 252 extended from Huntington Dr. & Monterey Rd. via Mercury Av., Sierra St., Lincoln Park Av. to replace Line 45. Or, proposed S-2 routing would operate between Huntington Dr. & Monterey Rd. and Broadway & Lincoln Park Av.
