Surprise, surprise…

You just knew it was coming, didn’t you? “Coalition sues in bid to block MTA fare hikes,” which roughly translated means “the rail-hating BRU’s at it again.” Memo to Eric Mann and co.: I’m a local public transit rider, and you most definitely don’t represent me - and I ride the bus each and every weekday.

  1. How can the Coalition claim that fare hikes will force public transit riders, the working poor, into cars? That is so false. If those people are so poor, they can’t afford a car, anyway.

Shove it, BRU! You chose to live in a city and living in a city gets expensive. Deal with it or get the hell out! Stupid ingrates.

  2. Can we sue the BRU as our own coalition? If these hikes do not go through then congestion will be worse. Do they not understand that their will be service cuts? And, BRU people do ride the trains as well (note the picture posted earlier on this site)? Are those people speaking up? I want to write a big F U letter to Mann.

  4. A Los Angeles judge has refused to grant an injunction blocking the fare increase. But no doubt the BRU & Co. will presist in filing frivilous motions and specious lawsuits.
