Passenger rail conference
Updated February 20 for corrections.
The Rail Passengers Association of California & Nevada and the National Association of Railroad Passengers co-sponsor a conference discussing several topics relating to passenger rail, 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. March 17 at the Metro Headquarters Conference Room, next to Union Station.
Special guests include Amtrak president Alex Kummant, former Massachusetts governor and presidential candidate Michael Dukakis, California High Speed Rail Authority Assistant Executive Director Dan Leavitt, as well as presentations from The Transit Coalition.
