Want to improve transportation in Los Angeles County? Have $125 that you don’t know what to do with? Consider going to the Mobility 21 Coalition’s 5th Annual Transportation Summit.
Metro, along with the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce and the Automobile Club of Southern California, is working to bring billions of dollars to improve roads, transit and freight movement. It tries to unify the interests of the various agencies, elected officials, businesses and nonprofit groups, which should help L.A. get a good seat at the trough.
The summit is well-attended by local, state and federal elected officials and other persons of influence. Archives of previous summits are available on the site.
