You like Chinese food? Of course you do. Everyone does. Well what better place to enjoy the red country’s finest cuisine than at the 3rd Annual Chinese Food Festival in LA’s own historic Chinatown. The two day street festival takes place on Saturday, June 24 from noon to 8pm and Sunday, June 25 from 10:30am-6pm. Admission is just $10, which includes one free tasting, and get $2 off by showing your Metro ticket or pass at the festival entrance. Activities include: Cooking Demos, Carnival Rides and Cultural Crafts, Casino-Style Gaming, a Noodle Eating Contest with a Grand Prize of $250, Chinatown’s own version of Fear Factor, and on tour from China comes the Breathtaking Martial Arts Of The Shaolin Monks. Getting to Chinatown is a piece of cake for it’s right across the street from the Gold Line Chinatown Station at Broadway and College Street so clear your calendar and go on down, go on down to Chinatown.
